A high level dialogue meeting entitled “Implementation of the IFAS Summit Conclusions and Outcomes of the UN Secretary-General’s visit to Central Asia” took place at the UN Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, on 20 July 2010.
On 15 June, UNRCCA Representative visited the OSCE Academy in Bishkek to deliver a lecture on the role of the UNRCCA in preventive diplomacy in Central Asia for the students and faculty of the Academy. During the lecture the focus was given to the challenges faced by the Central Asian region and the role of UNRCCA in addressing them.
20 May 2010 - SRSG Jenča held meetings on 17 and 20 May with high level MFA officials from France, including Secretary of State for European Affairs, Mr. Pierre Lellouche.
16 May 2010 - BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan -
On 16 May, SRSG Jenča visited Bishkek where he met with Ms. Roza Otunbayeva, Chair of the Interim Government, (IG) and Mr. Tekebayev, Deputy Chair of the IG. UN assistance to the IG was discussed, in particular with regard to the conduct of the June referendum and the October general elections.

SRSG and head of UNRCCA, Ambassador Miroslav Jenča participated in the OSCE Trans-Asian Parliamentary Forum (TAPF) in Almaty on 14-15 May, using this platform to advance cooperation with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
