MINI DUBLIN GROUP MEETING (Ashgabat, June 2018)
08 Jun 2018 - ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan On 8 June, UNRCCA hosted a regular meeting of the mini-Dublin Group (informal co-ordination group of like-minded countries on fight against illicit drugs) in Ashgabat. The event focused on the drug situation and policy initiatives in Turkmenistan and reviewed the cooperation of Dublin Group members with the Government. -
Training on preventive diplomacy in peacemaking, mediation and conflict resolution (Almaty, June 2018)
06 Jun 2018 - ALMATY, Kazakhstan Government officials from five Central Asian states and Afghanistan completed a training on preventive diplomacy in peacemaking, mediation and conflict resolution organized by the United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) on 4-6 June in Almaty, Kazakhstan. -

Regional meeting of the UN Resident Coordinators of Europe and Central Asia in Istanbul
07 Apr 2018 - On 5-6 April 2018, at the invitation of UNDP Administrator Achim Steiner, SRSG Natalia Gherman took part in the regional meeting of the UN Resident Coordinators of Europe and Central Asia. The meeting in Istanbul was convened to analyse the implications of UN Reform on the UN Development system and the coordinating mechanisms between different UN entities in order to deliver as One UN on the 2030 Agenda. -
