The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Secretary-General offered his gratitude for the country’s leadership in promoting reforms in the country and common solutions to regional issues in Central Asia and beyond. The Secretary-General and the President also discussed efforts undertaken toward the implementation

of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
