26 Jan 2018 - NY, 25 January 2018: The members of the Security Council welcomed the briefing on 22 January 2018 by the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), Natalia Gherman, and expressed their support for the work of UNRCCA, which marked its tenth anniversary in December 2017.

18 Jul 2017 - ALMATY, 18 July 2017 – A training seminar “Institutional Mechanisms of Transboundary Water Cooperation” was organized on 17-18 July 2017 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, by the United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) in cooperation with the Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia (CAREC) with financial support of the U.S. Government.
27 Jun 2017 - On June 27, Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Central Asia and Head of UNRCCA Petko Draganov briefed the UN Security Council on peace and security developments in Central Asia over the past six months. On this occasion, he reported on the implementation of the Centre’s mandate and on the UNRCCA’s activities during this period.
