VIENNA, Austria --

On 8 July, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, Head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), Miroslav Jenča, took part in the international conference "Enhancing security through water diplomacy: The role of the OSCE" conducted within OSCE Security Days in Vienna (Austria).

On the sidelines of the conference, the SRSG met with OSCE Secretary-General Lamberto Zannier and Chairperson of the Permanent Council, Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the OSCE, Ambassador Thomas Greminger. Discussions focused on the main developments in Central Asia and topical issues of the interaction between the UNRCCA and the OSCE.
