Ambassador Baki Ilkin of Turkey stated that the Security Council reaffirmed its support for the efforts of the UNRCCA to facilitate dialogue and assist the Governments of the region in addressing the multiple challenges they face. The Security Council welcomed the briefing received by the SRSG Miroslav Jenča in a closed-door session on the activities of the Centre, located in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, over the past six months.
