NEW YORK -

On 24-29 September, SRSG Jenča traveled to New York to participate at the 67th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

On the sidelines of the Session, he held a series of the meetings at the United Nations Headquarters with the high-ranking UN officials and accompanied the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Under Secretary-General for Political Affairs Jeffrey D. Feltman at the meetings with the Heads of Central Asian delegations.

In addition, Mr. Jenča held separate meetings with the United States Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert Blake, European Union Special Representative for Central Asia Patricia Flor, OSCE Secretary-General Lamberto Zannier.

Besides, SRSG Jenča took part at the High Level Development Group Meeting on Kyrgyzstan chaired by the United Nations Development Program Administrator Helen Clark; "Heart of Asia" Istanbul Process Senior Officials meeting and the meeting on the High-Level Launch of United Nations Guidance for Effective Mediation.
