JOIN THE BIGGEST-EVER GLOBAL CONVERSATION ON THE WORLD'S FUTURE
The United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) is launching a series of on-line exchange of views as part of the global #UN75 initiative to create a collective vision for world’s future.
In a world of dramatic changes and complex challenges, from the climate crisis to population shifts to the unknown course of technology, we need collective action more than ever before. Through UN75, the United Nations is encouraging people to put their heads together to define how enhanced international cooperation can help realize a better world.
The aim of the UN75 dialogues is to stimulate conversation on building a global vision for the year 2045, the UN’s 100th birthday, to increase understanding of the threats and challenges to the future and drive collective measures that would contribute to international stability and peace.
More information on the global campaign is available https://www.un.org/un75
The first exercise will be commenced by UNRCCA this week on the topic of Women Peace and Security.
UNRCCA is inviting young people, academic circles, think-tanks and politicians from Central Asian countries to join the discussion and share thoughts and opinions.
Compiled views and ideas will be presented to world leaders and senior UN officials at a high-profile event during the 75th Session of the General Assembly in September 2020.
