ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan

Today, Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Central Asia, Head of UNRCCA, Natalia Gherman hosted a meeting with Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Afghanistan and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), Tadamichi Yamamoto, as part of his working visit to Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the UN officials discussed cooperation between UNRCCA and UNAMA and recent developments in Central Asia, Afghanistan and the wider region.
