On 10 September 2025, Kaha Imnadze, SRSG for Central Asia and Head of UNRCCA, met with H.E. Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting focused on exploring avenues to enhance cooperation between UNRCCA and Turkmenistan within the framework of the recently opened 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, highlighting Turkmenistan’s priority proposals that resonate closely with the mandate of the Regional Centre.

SRSG Imnadze praised Turkmenistan’s leadership in advancing multilateral dialogue and reiterated UNRCCA’s readiness to work in close partnership to support regional peace and stability through preventive diplomacy.
