Since its establishment, the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) has actively engaged in preventive diplomacy efforts across a broad spectrum of issues critical to the region. The Centre has convened numerous high-level meetings, including those of Central Asian Deputy Foreign Ministers, which are vital for the effective implementation of its mandate.

These meetings serve as a unique platform for senior officials to exchange views on challenges to security and stability in the region, including extremism, terrorism, and the management of natural resources. They also provide UNRCCA with opportunities to receive feedback and recommendations from counterparts in Central Asian capitals, while fostering political support for new and ongoing initiatives.

The convening of high-level meetings underscores the strong commitment and active engagement of Central Asian States in promoting regional security through dialogue, preventive diplomacy, and sustained cooperation with the United Nations.
