ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan
On 21 July 2026, Kaha Imnadze, SRSG for Central Asia and Head of UNRCCA, met with H.E. Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to discuss priorities for continued cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNRCCA.
The interlocutors exchanged views on regional developments, as well as the high-level regional and international events to be hosted by Turkmenistan in 2026 and opportunities for UNRCCA's engagement through its preventive diplomacy mandate.
