On 30 October, SRSG Kaha Imnadze met with Ms. Dunyagozel Gulmanova, Chairperson of Mejilis of Turkmenistan.

The sides discussed the entire spectrum of co-operation between UNRCCA and Turkmenistan with a focus on activities, promoting implementation of the global Women Peace and Security and Youth, Peace and Security agendas.

Ms. Gulmanova expressed full support to the efforts of UNRCCA in building trust and promoting preventing diplomacy approach in Central Asia. 

SRSG Imnadze stressed that UNRCCA would continue to contribute to regional stability and prosperity, based on the close cooperation developed with Turkmenistan and other Central Asian states over the past fifteen years.
