ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan

On 6 March, as part of its mandate to promote preventive diplomacy, UNRCCA conducted a lecture on the Center’s establishment, mandate, mission goals and achievements for a group of students from the University of Tokyo. During the presentation, UNRCCA’s guests learned about the framework and areas of the mission’s activities in the field of preventive diplomacy. The Tokyo University group was accompanied by a lecturer and students from the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan. The session was followed by an exchange, showing the great interest of Japanese students in UNRCCA’s experience in working in Central Asia and with Afghanistan.
