Within the framework of the UNRCCA’s mandate to promote water dialogue in the region through preventive diplomacy, on November 26, 2021, the Centre organized an online meeting of water-energy and environment experts of the Central Asian states representing respective profile ministries and state agencies of the countries concerned.

The delegations from Central Asia had an opportunity to discuss and present their views and suggestions on the draft text of the renewed UNRCCA strategy in support of water, energy and environmental cooperation among the states of Central Asia for 2022-2025. The experts agreed that this work will be continued under the UNRCCA auspices at the next meeting in December.
