UNRCCA delivers a lecture at Kazak National University


ALMATY, Kazakhstan  On 28-31 March, Mr. Petko Draganov, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), visited Almaty, Kazakhstan to participate and deliver the opening remarks at the UNRCCA regional seminar on “Recognizing and Responding to Radicalization that can Lead to Violent Extremism and Terrorism in Central Asia”.


As part of his trip, on 30 March, the SRSG also met with the faculty and students of the Kazakh National University and delivered a lecture on “Current Challenges to Security and Political Stability in Central Asia”, which was followed by the exchange of questions with the students.
