ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan

On August 30, 2023, a seminar was organized for the graduates of the Academy of Preventive Diplomacy as part of the training for trainers’ program.

The program of the seminar included two topics: important aspects of the methodology for training of trainers and budget planning for project management.

The first part of the session was devoted to the development of one of the important competencies of a trainer - skill of working with a group.

During this session, future trainers learned about methodology for identifying types of participants based on their needs and behavior patterns, ways of interacting with different types of participants, problems and pitfalls that trainers may encounter in the process of training “difficult participants,” as well as specific methods and strategies for overcoming them.

Future trainers were also introduced to the key skills of an effective trainer, including the ability to adapt to the varying educational needs of participants.

The second part of the training was devoted to planning and developing budgets for project implementation. Participants were introduced to various methods and tools that could help them to allocate resources effectively and manage unexpected expenses.

Overall, the training session became a fruitful platform for the exchange of knowledge and interesting project ideas.
