The UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia has issued a new publication entitled “Regional Cooperation as a Factor for Peace and Stability in Central Asia”.

This publication represents a compilation of materials of the regional seminar “Regional Cooperation as a Factor for Peace and Stability in Central Asia”, which was organized by the United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on 20-21 November 2014. The event was organized as a part of series of strategic dialogues conducted by the United Nations Regional Centre with the expert community in Central Asia.

The seminar was focused on the evolution of the regional cooperation since the independence of Central Asian states and analysis of internal and external factors that influence regional processes.

The publication is expected to be of interest to diplomats, state officials, academic circles and political analysts of Central Asian states and the international expert community that follows up on developments in the region.
